Kohl Children’s Mueseum’s third pop-up exhibit recently opened in North Chicago and was featured in a Chicago Tribune Lake County News-Sun article “Kohl Children’s Museum travels to North Chicago for pop-up exhibit featuring STEM activities.”
“The location is the third in a strategy to provide access to the museum’s science, technology, engineering, arts and math activities to families in northern Lake County.”
“The Glenview-based Kohl Children’s Museum is geared toward educating young children through fun activities. The pop-ups are intended to bring those educational activities to families who may not be able to travel to the Kohl Children’s Museum, said vice president of programs Stephanie Bynum. Other pop-up locations set up this year were Waukegan and Round Lake Beach.”
GFF supports Kohl Children’s Museum annually, and its funding is used for bringing the pop-up exhibits to underserved coummunities in Lake County.
